Who in the heck is Life On The Land Farm?

What is going on? Where did Mingo Creek Farm go? I am so confused. What else is changing? I hate change!

If you are reading this you may have noticed that there is something a little different going on than what you are used to. We decided to change our name for a couple reasons. Our little plot of land is located close by the Mingo Creek which flows to the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County, PA but not quite on it. When we first started we envisioned a farm that would focus on food production. In the past two years we have evolved from that into living and nurturing the land as to provide food, not only for us, but for the local wildlife as well. We felt that the name no longer represented what we are. Second, While I love talking to folks on the phone, I no longer wish to receive calls asking for horse manure from a different farm in another part of the country these folks thought we were.

Welcome to Life On The Land Farm!

This name change removes the location specific meaning and represents more of the way we think and live (at least do our best trying to). No matter where we are our farm and ideas will remain the same and our name can ride along for the trip. We hope to post much more than the past and share the happenings of the farm as we grow!
